EUSOME Featured at the european ITS Congress in Seville, Spain, 19-21 May 2025
Members of the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence of the University of Cyprus (UCY) attended the 16th ITS European Congress, held on 19-21 May 2025 in Seville, Spain. This premier event, organized by ERTICO – ITS Europe, brought together over 3,000 professionals from across Europe to discuss advancements in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) under the theme “Clean, Resilient, and Connected Mobility.”
During the congress, the KIOS team engaged in extensive networking activities and distributed promotional materials to raise awareness about the EUSOME project. The EUSOME project was also brought into the discussion by the KIOS Director, Prof. Christos Panayiotou, during a panel discussion, contributing to broader conversations on future mobility solutions.
The congress provided a valuable platform for KIOS to connect with key stakeholders in the ITS community, fostering collaborations that are essential for the successful integration of sustainable mobility solutions in urban environments.
