EUSOME Networking and Synergy Building at Key European Events in Brussels, 10-12 June 2025

In June 2025, Professor George Ellinas from the University of Cyprus represented the EUSOME project at two significant events in Brussels: the Horizon Europe Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society Info Day and Brokerage Event (11–12 June) and the ERTICO Annual Partnership Forum (10–11 June).

These high-profile gatherings brought together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities in security, mobility, and innovation. The Horizon Europe Info Day provided a comprehensive overview of upcoming funding opportunities and fostered connections for future collaborative projects focused on disaster resilience, cybersecurity, border management, and more. Meanwhile, the ERTICO Forum showcased Europe’s vision for smart, sustainable transport, highlighting cutting-edge strategies in automation, connectivity, and public-private partnerships.

By participating in these events, EUSOME reinforced its commitment to advancing safer and more efficient mobility solutions. Engaging with a broad network of European stakeholders enables the project to explore potential synergies, identify collaboration opportunities, and stay aligned with the evolving landscape of transport innovation and security research. These activities support EUSOME’s overarching goal to contribute to the development of resilient, intelligent air mobility systems for urban and regional environments.
