2nd EUSOME Press Release Published

The second press release of the EUSOME project is now available, highlighting the progress achieved during the first fifteen months of the project.

The release presents recent developments across several technical and operational areas, including the development and testing of the EUSOME eVTOL pre-prototype, UAV detection technologies combining Remote-ID, radar, and optical cameras, UAV trajectory planning and detect-and-avoid solutions, as well as 5G connectivity testing for reliable drone operations in urban environments.

It also outlines the project’s ongoing work on training and mentoring activities, U-space-related planning, stakeholder engagement, and dissemination activities across the Southeast Mediterranean region.
