{"id":1810,"date":"2025-07-24T07:45:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T07:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eusome.eu\/?p=1810"},"modified":"2025-07-24T08:34:05","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T08:34:05","slug":"eusome-showcased-at-the-university-of-cyprus-summer-academies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eusome.eu\/?p=1810","title":{"rendered":"EUSOME Showcased at the University of Cyprus Summer Academies, 4 July 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On <strong>Friday, 4 July<\/strong>, <strong>Prof. Panayiotis Kolios<\/strong> presented the <strong>EUSOME Excellence Hub<\/strong> at the <strong>University of Cyprus (UCY) Summer Academies<\/strong>, engaging with high school and technical school students participating in the <strong>\u201cEngineering &amp; Technology Applications\u201d Academy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>University of Cyprus Summer Academies<\/strong> aim to give high school students a taste of university life, help them explore potential fields of study through direct interaction with academic staff, promote the University of Cyprus as a first choice for top\u2011performing students, and further strengthen the University\u2019s outreach to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the session, students were introduced to <strong>Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)<\/strong> and EUSOME\u2019s pioneering research on <strong>safe autonomous flight<\/strong>, <strong>drone guidance frameworks<\/strong>, and <strong>city\u2011wide path planning<\/strong>.
